Los Angeles Academy Middle School and STEAM Magnet is a community of learners on the move. It is transforming as the genuine heart of the community where students, parents, and staff collaborate and innovate to create a climate that nurtures and promotes learning. Los Angeles Academy Middle School seeks to provide students with an equitable education where the student's voice is valued and taking risks is encouraged. Together we will prepare each and every student to become 21st Century learners prepared to succeed academically and socially to their potential.

BSAP Surveys

It is that time of year again!  The window for the BSAP Surveys has opened.  An email with the Student and Parent will be sent to every Black student regarding the BSAP Survey. Please work with your children ensuring that they receive the email, complete the survey and have submitted the BSAP Student and Parent Survey. Your attention to survey is important to us. The deadline is Friday, April 19, 2024.

Dear LAAMS Family,
 
As we embark on a new academic year, I am filled with a sense of gratitude for the strong bonds we have established within our school family, which truly forms the heart of our community.
 
Our commitment to provide an optimal educational program for every student is a priority. We are committed to providing each and every student with a solid, nurturing educational experience that fuels students’ unique ambitions to excel and achieve his/her potential. We strive to create an environment where our students feel safe, supported, and empowered to grow both academically and personally.
 
We believe in preparing our students not just for success within the classroom walls, but also for their journey in the world beyond. We are dedicated to cultivating a well-rounded education that equips our students with the skills, knowledge, and resilience necessary to confidently face any challenge.
 
It is with great pride that I stand alongside our incredible team of educators as we guide our students through this important phase of their lives. Together, we are academic warriors working tirelessly to unlock the brilliance within each and every student.
