Beyond the Bell

The mission of our after school program is to ensure that all children have a safe place to be in with the presence of nurturing and caring adults. We strive to offer engaging activities, physical development, and social development skills within our students.

1. Academic Tutorial Program: Students study subjects such as Reading, Math, Writing, Science, Social Studies, and Computers. In addition, high school ASSETS Programs focus on college preparation and job readiness.
2. Recreational Program: Students participate in physical activities including Intramural Sports, Structured Physical Activity, Dance, and Aerobics.
3. Enrichment Program: Students participate in classes such as Life Skills, Art, Cooking, and Music.

On behalf of all the Beyond the Bell staff here at LA Academy, we would like to invite you to become part of our after-school program. Our program is completely FREE of charge and serving all students of grades 6th-8th.  We have components offering a variety of activities like dance, sports, and enrichment. All you need to do is fill out an application and turn it in to any of our Coaches.
